The New and improved Vics website has been designed with our members in mind. Accessibility, functionality and visual attractiveness have been the key motivators in this new design.
Members will have exclusive access to Vics training material, the InfoVics magazine, the InfoVics iTunes podcast and more as well as features that are available to non-Vics members such as the Vics Blog, the frequently asked questions and what we believe is the most comprehensive links list with pointers to a huge and diverse array of resources relating to vision impairment and technology.
Of course, all of the content you’d expect to find on the Vics website is still here. The minutes of the annual general meetings from 2001 to 2008, the Vics constitution, the Vics whitepaper, the lobbying reports on ATM accessibility and electronic voting, the list of Vics committee contacts and a lot more.
It is our priority to ensure this website continues to grow, to offer our members new training content, and to ensure that members can access this content easily. For this reason, the site heavily utilizes Really Simple Syndication (RSS) so that users can use feed readers to keep up to date with Vics News and new content, and via our iTunes and standard podcast feed compatibility to provide InfoVics to members using the media player of their choice while on the go.
Accounts will shortly be provided to all Vics members so you can log into the site to access the restricted areas. If you have not received your account yet, please email the with your Email address and full name.
Enjoy.
