VICS Heads West to Galway for Information and Technology Day 2009/10

The latest in the series of VICS Information and Technology Days will be taking place on Saturday February 27th in the Carlton hotel Galway.

These events are an ideal opportunity for blind and vision impaired individuals to come along and hear about the latest and greatest products and services currently making the headlines in the assistive technology arena.

Some of the biggest product vendors from the UK and Ireland will be on hand to demonstrate their offerings, with accessible equipment such as touchscreen mobile phones, GPS devices, and Computer-based solutions just some of the items which will be on show.

VICS representatives will also be on hand to answer any technology-related queries you may have, or to offer advice and guideance on best-fit solutions.

The event will begin at 11:00AM, and run until 4:30. Attendance is open to all, and is free of charge.
