ATAG Scheme is Officially Launched

The Visually Impaired Computer Society of Ireland and the NCBI are delighted to announce the formal launch of the Assistive Technology Acquisition Grant (ATAG) Scheme. After a highly successful pilot phase, it has been decided to continue the scheme in order to enable more individuals to benefit.

The purpose of the scheme is to help blind or vision impaired persons purchase assistive technology products, such as screen readers / magnifiers, CCTVs, Braille displays etc. Funding of up to 25% of the cost of such products is available, provided that certain criteria are met.
