The Visually Impaired Computer Society of Ireland (VICS) is a voluntary organisation operating in the technology sector, offering a range of informational, training and support services to individuals who are blind or vision impaired.
We offer an extensive online catalogue of traning material, and produce an audio-based magazine available to all our members.
We regularly organise events and activities, which act as networking opportunaties and allow members to share opinions and experiences of the latest products and services.
The VICS community is made up of individuals from all walks of life, with varying skill levels - from the absolute beginner to the experienced expert. Areas of expertees include computers, mobile devices, portable media players, navigational aids, and everything inbetween.
